In this Christmas, remember the young Ali Ismail, who lost both arms during U.S. attacks on Baghdad.

On the other hand,

yes, he lost both arms and his family, but now he gets to live without the menace of publicly funded health care, publicly owned oil fields, price controls designed to keep the so-called lower class from destitution, unfriendly relations with Israel, state subsidized prescription medicine and food, free education, the absence of US "investors" who want to control Iraqs economy, or unjust regulations that force factory managers to install safety devices or limit overtime. He shoud be grateful; he's headed for a lifetime of freedom. Even if that lifetime dosn't turn out to be very long.

I saw a nicer piture with the little boy having fake arms and smiling. Also, you are not suppose to put in X for Christ. If you don't want to write it out you could just put in a C. It looks like you are xing it out, and without him it is not worth celebrating.

Someone ought to get you a fake brain, rodent; even if it is battery powered it will probably work better than the one you have.

Ali is a nice kid

His whole family was wiped out and he got these horrific injuries, yet he keeps smiling. He doesn't fully understand why things happened the way they did.

What I can't understand is why his family remained right in the middle of a military complex during the war, perhaps they were forced to.

If I had been his dad I would have stocked up on tinned food and moved out to the hills until the whole show was over.

Poor Ali, just another one of Saddam's victims. All he had to do was demonstrate that he no longer had WMDs. That's all it took.

demonstrate

by Meyer London Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at 5:07 PM

All you had to demonstrate was that you are a heartless rat and a cretin to boot. You have successfully demonstrated both. Why is this board infested with vermin like you?

Where the hell do you think lil' Ali was ever going to find ANY of this in Saddams Iraq?

Absolutely nowhere.

Ali can thank the hole diggin' coward Saddam for those wounds.
