US Troops Are Like Killer Dogs

by adicus finch Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at 10:22 AM

Suggesting as new strategy for anti-war activists

US troops are like killer dogs in many ways. They’re obedient, domesticated, loyal to their imperialist masters, vicious, trained to kill, etc.

The imperialist masters’ trainers have spent a lot of time training yanqui dog soldiers how to kill people, especially dark-skinned people in the third world. When the supreme imperialist master points his fingers at some country that he doesn’t like and says “sic em boy, sic em”, yanqui dog soldiers hop on a plane and go half way around to kill the supreme imperialist master’s enemies.

Like killer dogs, they don’t ask questions and they don’t think for themselves. They just kill who ever they are ordered to kill.

Yanqui dog soldiers are so brainwashed by their imperialist masters that it’ll take a tremendous effort to educate them to the degree where they can understand that imperialist invasions are criminal in nature, that their imperialist masters must to be tried for war crimes and that yanqui dog soldiers who murder for their imperialist masters are responsible for their crimes.

How can they be educated? They can be educated the same way many people house train their dogs. Grab them by the ears and stick their noses in their own shit, i.e., the shit of yanqui imperialism. In other words, teach them about the long bloody history of US imperialism in its pursuit of profits via conquest. Show them how capitalist ideology thrives on racism, oppression of women, exploitation of workers, destruction of the environment, etc. Show them how US imperialism is destroying society and our planet, i.e., that capitalism, in its quest to turn the world upside down and inside out for profits, is not a sustainable economic system.

Of course some yanqui dog soldiers will never learn. They’ll live out the rest of their lives with the shit of yanqui imperialism on their noses. As the saying goes “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”, so don’t waste time on them.

Sympathy for yanqui dog soldiers via slogans like “Support Our Troops” doesn’t work. It’s like begging a new puppy not to shit in your carpet. The proof is in Iraq. After nine months of employing this strategy, what are the results? Where are the troops who are organizing a resistance like the troops did in Vietnam? So far all that’s happened is a few AWOLs (absent without leave), some suicides and one soldier who injured himself so he could go home. Meanwhile the atrocities committed by US troops continue full steam ahead.

The anti-war movement in the US needs to get in step with the rest of the world. Stop supporting the US troops and start teaching them. Scorn them, ostracize them, do whatever is necessary to get them to wake up and listen. We can support them when they take an active stance against the war.

the world would be a better place if we traded an innocent iraqi life with yours.

More Troll Garbage?

by Left (and right!) Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at 5:06 PM

Yeah, right, that would be a good strategy for the left, should resonate well with America.

You're probably the same poster who up up that they're like scabs.

Just more troll garbage? (might as well be!)

In fact, our troops are our children. They're our young sons and daughters who didn't have a clue that they'd be sent to fight an illegal war for Perle, Chaney and Wolfowitz.......who joined up to the reserves so that they could get a college education, and at most fight hurricanes, and are now in hell, and we on left are doing everything we can to get them home (alive and well) NOW!

ha ha ha

You obviously haven't met very many military people. A lot of them are against this current war. Maybe they're not the most rebellious, independent-minded people, but they aren't sheep. This war is beating some sense into them, getting them to think for themselves.

agreed!

I agree with your statement

"ex-military against the war"

by Max Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003 at 12:30 AM

I'm ex-military and I'm for the Iraqi liberation.

Thank you for your daily devotion to the little red book and without fail repeating the mantra I taught you. What would I do without useful idiots like you who claim to think for themselves but are simply repeating the things you have been told to repeat? You make me proud.

addicus finch is obviously...

by nonanarchist1957 Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003 at 1:11 AM

...quite the Little Red Robot.

How do you teach THEM to think?

Not possible. They're not equipped for it. Best thing you can do is put them out of their misery and stop the waste of resources...oxygen, water, etc. They serve society best when they're at room temperature.

I'm active-duty military, and at first I didn't think the war was a good idea.

Then I did some research, looked at the facts, and decided Saddam indeed needed to go.

The only problem I had with the invasion is "Why did it take so long?"

But, unlike most people in here, I know the limits of my knowledge and experience, and will not second-guess those making the decisions.

Some of you folks might need to explore the limits of your knowledge, and stop trying to think beyond your limits.
