Heading to Martial Law

by Inevitable Tuesday, Dec. 09, 2003 at 11:50 PM

US Gov knew about the inevitability of 9/11, beginning of the move towards martial law. If it is inevitable, can we bring it sooner and catch rulers off guard before prepared?

Martial law police state is suspension of all Constitutional freedoms. Judging the behavior of Miami Police towards protesters in FTAA Miami, and also the FBI harrassment of activists for speaking out against Bush's Iraq Oil War, we are heading in the direction of full on martial law. The Humvees driven by Schwarzenegger are an ominous vision of the future under military control..

If martial law is inevitable as 9/11 was, when are the ruling elite (Bush, Cheney, Rockefeller, DuPont, Monsanto, etc.) prepared to have it go in effect? Anytime? Or are they planning for a certain prepared moment?

Activists are attempting to delay martial law by encouraging peaceful and non-violent resistance to the corporate globalization that threatens people and ecosystems globally..

If the peaceful resistance continues while the corporate elite set their nets, we will be caught in the martial law trap when they are ready. If we push the ruling elite so they have to declare martial law on our time, then it may delay their plans..

Some situations are directly related to the industrial/nuclear sites and what is being done with the waste/pollutionand the possibility of more years of profit..

Since all the Iraqi oil coming from Halliburton is being refined into fuel and petrochemical products, the oil execs want a happy SUV driving American public free from any police state martial law. This enables the rulers to maximize profit while keeping the delusion of American democracy intact..

When the oil runs out then the ruling elites may be ready for martial law. People will need to be controlled so that the transition from petroleum economy to other (hydrogen) can be made smoothly without mass protests, riots, etc..

Outdated infrastructure like oil refineries will be demolished and other newer hydrogen/solar industry will take oil's place. British Petroleum and Shell have already bought into solar/hydrogen economy infrastructure. Nothing like a few bombs to destroy old then rebuild afterwards..

If martial law is inevitable, why wait til the petroleum industry and military elite have amassed even more power?

..lets get it on...

Rather than instigate futile and counter productive pointless random as this header( thank you Cointelpro ) proposes, any serious patriot would do as the wise ones are doing. Nothing overt until provoked and thus justified and supported by public sympathy.

Note to Doggy....

I clocked out over an hour ago.......

You SERIOUSLY expect me to reply to you on my own time?

Run that one by me next time I am being paid and I may answer you.

At the moment I am "monitoring" LA-imc in my own time, just for laughs........

The most likely situation for the imposition of martial law will be when there's domestic terrorism and street violence.

Nonviolent protest is the salve that prevents the imposition of military law. It places the protestor on higher moral ground.

The corporations would not want martial law anyway. They've traditionally collaborated with the local law enforcement and hired private goons. They know that small activist groups are most easily scared by a limited number of extremely violent acts against them. It's a kind of terrorism.

Why would the government impose martial law when the fuel runs low? They would either let prices rise, and risk major inflation, or impose some rationing (and risk a reduced GDP).

This above article is just more Alex Jones right wing paranoia. Some of it is good, but, like most right wing thinking, completely ignores issues of class, and seems to be amenable to racism and sexism.

Consider stopping buying and selling
