Cartoon of naked Sharon devouring infant wins top UK prize

A cartoon of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon eating the head of a Palestinian baby against the backdrop of a burning Palestinian city has won first prize in the British Political Cartoon Society's annual competition.

There were 35 entries in the Cartoon of the Year competition, sponsored by the British Independent newspaper, from some of the country's leading cartoonists.

Dave Brown's winning cartoon was published in the Independent a few months ago, when it was claimed that it was inspired by a Goya painting.

In his acceptance speech, Brown thanked the Israeli Embassy for its angry reaction to the cartoon, which he said had contributed greatly to its publicity.

This form of propaganda originated with the gypsies. They were the slaves in Europe before Africans. They are persecuted to this day. Out of federal tax monies that I contribute it is split this way, over $900 for me and over $600 of the money I contribut in taxes to Israel. Becuase Sharon is backed by kkk minded Christian fundamentalists this money is guaranteed even as he acts like a monster. Yet this image remains chilling and inappropriatedue to the extreme conditions the gypsies live under in Europe and the way this kind of propogabda works.

I've had many encounters with gypsies in my time and all I've seen is agressive begging and petty thieving.

Not to mention the mess they leave on people's doorsteps when they move on.

Maybe, there's a bit of give and take here? No wonder gypsies are persecuted if they continue to go around acting like it's the fucking Middle Ages.

You do make one extremely good point. They were slaves during the middle ages in Europe.

The rest of what you say is garbage. You have never met a gypsy and you are full of rhetoric and lies.

Why don't you at least try to be convincing? Don't be vague, provide some facts!!!

All of the Gypsies I have met have begged for money aggressively from me. I've observed gypsies stealing cellphones from restuarant tables while begging.

All of the gypsies I've seen in my neighbourhood left a huge mess after they left.

Gypsies don't seem to realise that it's not the Middle Ages anymore and that begging is not an accepted way of life anymore. We pay taxes so we don't have to put up with that shit.

It time the Gypsies got their act together.
