As I sit here and pick the puss outta my ears. The quiet whispers of "scab scab scab" ring through my ears. It really doesn't bother me, it is actually quite humorous to see 40 year olds acting 12. The best one's are when I am sitting outside and they start to say EWWW it smells out here" HELLO when did elemenary school end. I am 20 and I feel more mature than them. Yes I am a scab. I am also a college student trying to save for University. I contrary to other scabs believe that Grocery workers are vital to the job. It takes good ones to keep the customer shopping. They are on their feet their whole shift and most have families to support. If the union does not stick together then who will. I just wish that they could understand that most of us so called scabs are also human, hard workers, college students, mother's, father's who all need income. Opportunities in this life don't come often, so when they do we have to take them. Especially in this economy where it is so hard to find a job, let alone be a college student trying to better themselves. I know that alone these people are nice people but together they can be big jerks. I hope in the end all is resolved and I can find a new job.
"Opportunities in this life don't come often, so when they do we have to take them. "
How's $10 to take it in the ass?
No?
$5 for a blowjob?
You're the kind of guy who would do ANYTHING for the right amount, wouldn't you?
Scabs = losers and parasites. What ever gave you the idea that saving money for college gives you the moral right to help wealthy grocery chain executives deprive workers of their health insurance? I didn't have two cents to rub together when I was in college (or graduate school) but I never considered scabbing as a way to raise funds, anymore than I considered becoming a pickpocket. You are right in thinking that anyone should have the right to attend college, regardless of their income. But the way to get that is to fight for free education at all levels, not just grades 1-12. Stealing jobs from workers is not the way to it; it is a way of making class stratification even worse in this society than it already is.
