World War III was the Cold War. The next one is World War IV.

But isn't it a little presumptious of us the think that the wars of our time are more important than other wars of the past? Didn't the Medo-Persians essentially declare war on the known world at their time? And Alexander the Great certainly conquered the world in battle. The same with the Romans who expanded their empire in battle over the world. It was once the case that the sun never went down on the British Empire. So, the next war would really be something along the lines of World War XXV if we took everything into consideration.

Whatever it is, I'm ready.
