Gore received MINUS 16,022 Votes in Volusia County

by Votefraud Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 4:20 PM

Diebold Voting Machines in Volusia County, Florida, Tallied a Vote-Count of -16,022. That's NEGATIVE 16,022: When will this all-important story break out in the US mainstream press? When will the Democrats confront the issue? What is at stake here is the future of democracy.

[The original article to which this post refers waso riginally published on 29 Nov 2000 in *USA Today* by Philip Meyer. When I did a search for the article on the www.usatoday.com website I came up with this page which clearly provides the details of the article and even offers a link to a free preview of the article. However, when you click on the link, it gives you a page void of the article. What happened to it? One can only speculate. Nevertheless, I have obtained the original article.

[Contact Brent Beleskey <voterscoalition@rogers.com> for the

A remarkable exchange concerning Diebold's voting machines in Volusia County, Florida: On January 17, 2001, Lana Hines, a county elections official sends out an inquiry as to how Al Gore ended up with a vote-count of -16,022. That's NEGATIVE 16,022 -- which just happens also to have been the total number of votes cast for various independent and third-party candidates who also ran. (It was the largest number of such votes cast in Volusia County's history.)

Pay close attention to the final entry, from "Tab" (Talbot) Iredale, Vice President of Research & Development at Global/Diebold:

...The error could only occur in one of four ways:

1.Corrupt memory card. This is the most likely explanation for the problem but since I know nothing about the 'second' memory card I have no ability to confirm the probability of this.

2.Invalid read from good memory card. This is unlikely

since the candidates['] results for the race are not all

read at the same time and the corruption was limited to a single race. There is a possib[ili]ty that a section of

the memory card was bad but since I do not know anything more about the 'second' memory card I cannot validate this.

3.Corruption of memory, whether on the host or Accu-Vote. Again this is unlikely due to the localization of the

problem to a single race.

4.Invalid memory card (i.e., one that should not have been uploaded). There is always the possiblity that the

'second memory card' or 'second upload' came from an

unauthorised source.

And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Volusia County ? Figures

by Brandon T. Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 4:47 PM

For all of you who know nothing about Volusia county-the population is 80 percent black, and about 40% of those in the towns of Deland, Deltona, and New Smyrna Beach are living in poverty. Figures that it would happen in an area where it was most likely to be overlooked.A rather Convenient mistake....

I only know because my father (a successful IT company's founder) is from the town of Deland. I am a prep-school educated black male, but In my own family alone I have 4 cousins who have been incarcerated, one of whom was shot and killed by police during a robbery attempt. Volusia County is a very rural area with a large criminal problem. This will do little to change anything concerning the 2000 election, but thought you guys in Cali might wanna know. I currently live in West Palm Beach.

Pardon My Slip

by Brandon T. Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 5:33 PM

I was actually talking about a couple of the towns there-not the entire county, sorry. I do have more lies for you though:

1. We've found WMD and Saddam in Iraq

2. We've found Osama et al

3. People aren't losing their jobs

4. Gore didn't get more of the popular vote than GWB

5. Kenneth Lay didn't work for GWB from 91-93

That enough for ya ?

by Daytona Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 5:41 PM

No, I'll leave the "Conspiracy Theories" to you liberal and anarchist nutsos.

Here, this is closer to you. Go hang out there.

by FAMU Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 5:52 PM

This whole '16,000 votes missing' thread is a conspiracy theory. Start licking.

Oh, you're in Palm Beach County, the place that can't figure out how to use a butterfly ballot. Nevermind.

Not from Here, you fuck

by Brandon T. Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 5:54 PM

No, I'm from Massachusetts-where people are smart enough not to Elect Jeb Bush twice, and smart enough to know how to use a ballot. Although I do agree that PB County has some of the world's stupidest people. FAMU's a sweet school, BTW-are you going for your Waste Sanitation Engineer Degree ?

B-Mass

by BC-C Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 6:01 PM

Waste Sanitation Engineer Degree? No, I'll leave that to those whose family backgrounds are more suited to field work.

Massachusetts. Smart. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The place where Kennedy rules with an iron fist. The home of liberal no-nothings. Are you related to Willie Horton? I mean, your family history and all.

Feel free to pack your bags and head up I-95 anytime. You won't be missed.

Racist

by Brandon T. Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 6:04 PM

Title says it all. (not Bush Admirer-he isn't)

BM

by law-der-dale Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 6:10 PM

Oooooooooooo! Racist.

Your PC trash don't work with me. Anyone who would claim that black people were disenfranchised in 2000 are people who just want to play the race card for their own political agenda. That crap didn't fool anyone then and it still isn't now. Same crap Jesse Jackass was claiming last night. Pack up and hit the road.
