I was feeling kinda down for Whittier last week, when I first went there, because the turntout was kind of low, but things turned around tonight. There were at least 30 people there, probably 40, speaking truth to power. People were honking for us with spirit, and making a small ruckus.
It really carried on the spirit of the afternoon's demonstration. Hundreds of people were on our side, and willing to take a stand by making some noise. We're out there to keep the pressure on the politicians.
I also found a pretty good drink. Green tea with passion fruit. They have it at the chinese fast food place near where we're demo-ing. It was a good day.
PS - don't forget to go to the polls on the 7th, and keep Arnold Schwartzenegger out of office.
PPS - this first photo is hilarious.
Great photos. Keep up the good work.
Where and when do you plan to protest next?
Actually all the photos were hilarious.
So, exactly how does someone who describes himself as a "TV smashing, non-voting anarchist revolutionary" have any foundation by which to tell others to vote? And how does supporting the UN fall into that particular idealogy?
I can understand you wanting to keep Gray Davis in office, or at least Cruz B., because as an anarchist you desire the collapse of the system, and what better and quicker way to accomplish that than to keep a liberal in power.
But the UN? Isn't that where all this One World Power suppose to emminate? How does that help? Unless you're hoping the whole world under the UN will pick up the banner of Marxism, and then we will have world economic collapse for sure, and anarchy (in your view) would predominate and become the way of life. That would make sense and give you a reason to support the UN.
Explain yourself.
