He's just holding the baby while his buddies heat up the soup to put it in! Don't you know all Americans are evil? You need to read Indymedia more!
Some great photos here... I love the one with the guy with the kitten (hopeless cat-lover here)...
Believe me, I know that there are PLENTY of great people in uniform over there. Likely the majority of them, in fact... However, they SHOULDN'T be there in the first place! How many of those people in those photos are wishing they were back here in the U.S. petting their own animal companions... Attending their own churches... Cradling their OWN babies in their arms.
Don't twist these images for your right-wing political purposes... I think most of us would have welcomed the photos with a title that read "Compassion In Uniform"...
Here at commiemedia? Be real.
What kind of life would that beautiful child being held by the serviceman have had if the Saddam regime had not been removed?
Would he have been imprisoned? Killed, then buried in a mass grave still clutching a favorite stuffed toy? Watched helplessly as his mother was raped? Someday fed feet first into a plastic shredder? Starved while Saddam built palaces?
You see, the soldier holding the baby knows that, while he misses his own children, the Iraqi child he's holding now has a much greater chance of survival and the first chance of freedom he or his parents have ever known.
Believe me, the Left has never missed an opportunity to twist images for their own purposes. Remember the little boy who lost his arms? He was constantly held up as proof of Bush's inhumanity. Did you plead to stop his exploitation by the anti-war crowd? The title of this article is a parody of that sort of rabid exploitation.
Perhaps you should just be thankful that there are people in the military willing to forsake their own lives to give others a chance at life.
The only Leftists who were remotely capable of such sacrifice were the human shields...and they turned tail and ran pretty quickly, didn't they? Not much nobility in evidence there, was there?
Nope...not much.
I actually believe that there are WMD's in Iraq, so what do I know? Not a whole hell of a lot!
Grow a pair of balls and post somethig relevant to the topic.
