Billions of dollars, thousands of civilians killed (including children) for some 'they might be' germs in a 'might be' mobile biological lab provided by a group who wanted to use the US to get rid of Saddam. I don't know if this was seen by US viewers, but in the UK last night, Fox News ran a tape of Lt. Gen. James Conway, commander of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force on the ground in Iraq, saying no biochemial weapons have been found, followed immediatel by one of Bush making the statement quoted above and in the Post - "to those who say we found no weapons - they were wrong.

Perhaps Fox intended the Bush clip to refute the Conway clip, but it left viewers here with the choice of concluding that either Bush or Conway has no clue of what's going on in Iraq, or that one of them is lying.

...that the public is beginning to wake up to the fact they've been had.
