Ten things i hate about this administration

by mymicz Friday, May. 23, 2003 at 2:01 PM

You all may add to the list if you wish.

1. The Clean Air Act gutted by Whitmann before she resigned in quiet protest.

2. The conservative Judges Bush tries to appoint: ie: Miguel Estrada- who thinks burning a cross on someones lawn is free speech.

3. The attacks on civil liberties including the covering of a naked breast by John Ashcroft, the covering of Picasso's Guernica at the U.N. for Powell, and library spying to name but a few.

4. Drug Czar John Walters desire to use your tax dollars, that are supposed to be educating your children about drugs, in order to fight ballot initiatives and intervene in the will of the public with false propoganda, we're talking billions of tax dollars.

5. No Child or as we call it Every Child left behind, a plan to gut funding for public education at a time when California schools are losing some 25,000 teachers due to budget shortfalls. This plan actually penalizes schools that already don't have enough money to operate properly by taking funding from schools that cannot pass standardised tests.

6. Israel, in the last two years under Bush the situation in Israel has never been worse. Despite sending Powell to Israel for a negotiation recently, Bush has done absolutely nothing else besides throwing weapons at the problem. The Iraq war, or the false ending of it, has created an upsurge in suicide bombings. Now, instead of one a day, Israel can expect four or five a day, this is directly related to the youths of Iraq, desperate and parentless, who are victims of war used as pawns by each side. Everything Bush has done to date has created higher and higher levels of hostility in the region. Including the dropping of depleted uranium which causes cancer. Up to 80% of suicide bombers are terminally ill cancer patients.

7. "you are either with us or against us," a phrase practically paraphrased from what Hitler said to the Reichstag the day he took over Germany.

8. Chickenhawks, men who never had the guts to serve in war and used priveledge to escape duty and punishment for going AWOL, including Bush, Cheney, and many more.

9. The desertion of our troops, exposing them to Depleted Uranium, ignoring over 100,000 cases of gulf war syndrome from the previous war (that's 1 in 3 soldiers), refusing to do mandatory screening on soldiers as dictated by law before and after war, and the unabashed and disgusting action of slashing veterans benefits by 25 million or more at the exact same time as troops prepare for a war.

10. Hypocracy- Jenna and Barbara the stoners, Jeb's little cocaine nosejob daughter, Bush's DUI scandals, meanwhile, Americans are finding day after day that FDA an pharmecutical controlls on drugs, coupled with the DEA's failed war, have been depleting our resources and causing suffering for half a century now. People can't get their medicine, people get medicine they don't need from profiteers, and no one is safe from harmful vaccines. Families are torn apart by the illicit drug trade, when profits, that could go into state coffers, are diverted to Columbia to kill peasants.

Find me ten factual reasons to like him, that still won't be enough for me.
