Isreali agents have taken over the Palistinian "resistance" groups and are perpetuating "war" against Isreal to derail any chance for a Palistinian state.
Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade...we have all been told that these groups are fighting to end the occupation of arab lands, and to protect the Palistinian people from Zionist aggression. These militant groups have widespread support amongst the Palistinian population. In fact the members of these groups, the past and future martyrs, are held up as heros of the Palistinian cause. However, there is clearly need for more penetrating analysis.
My hypothysis is based on two assuptions: 1. The Isrealis never want to be neighbors with any kind of Palistinian state. 2. The Isrealis wish to occupy and humiliate the Palistinians indefinately.
Most progressive people would agree with the above assumptions. Now we have to ask ourselves what the Isrealis can do to realize these assumptions. The easiest way is to infiltrate the leadership elements of the Palistinian resistance groups, and to use these leadership positions to impel lower-ranking "martyrs" to carry out suicide attacks against Isreal. Thus the Isrealis have been able to use these suicide attacks to lend their occupation an aura of ligitimacy.
The big tip off is the near parallel goals of Hamas and the Isrealis. Hamas' publicly stated policy goal is to prevent any peace deal with Isreal that results in a Palistinian state next to Isreal. This is , not suprisingly, the exact same goal of the Sharon government. Another indication of the collusion between Hamas and Isreal is that anytime there is any external pressure (i.e., European, US, UN, ect.) to initiate peace talks, there is an associated wave of suicide attacks. Of course these attacks conveniently derail any peace talks. Convienient for Isreal that is.
In a land that imbraces the conspiracy theory I am really suprised no Arabs have jumped on this. It seems so OBVIOUS to me. I think the Isrealis have pulled off the perfect conspiricy. It is perfect because the people it is perpetrated against (the Palistinians) can NEVER aknowledge the logic of the conspiricy. For the Palistinians, groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad will always be their heros. For the Isrealis groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad will always be nice tools to use to prevent the istablishment of a Palistinian state, and to justify further occupation and oppression.
I would love to hear your comments regarding this idea.

First of all, you are so racist it hurts, not because you may believe in a conspiracy by Jews, but because you lump them all into one category like you know something. Have you ever heard of Betselem, or the Sheni party of Israel that is their version of liberals, which garnered more votes than the Greens do here. You speak of the widespread support for Hamas and you misguidedly contradict yourself. Those people support Hamas and die for Hamas and no Jew or Israeli or Zionist has anything to do with it except a badly elected president and a shitty policy towards it's neighbors. I can believe Bush is friends with Osama, I can believe in conspiracies, but I have to say, since the Olympic murders, since this Intifada, Arabs have been intentionally bad in line. Whether or not they had justification is up for debate. But don't ever say anything as stupid an unfounded as what you just said because it really gives people a reason to hate you. And that, my friend, is a goal you should shun if you want to get something done. get some facts, meet some people on both sides, get a clue before you speak. You sound more like the KKK than someone who should be posting here.

I have heard of so many crazy conspiricies concerning the Isrealis, I figured I would try and see how that one went over. I was being totally facetious, although unless you have a cynical sense of humor you probably would not have picked up on it.
It seems like the Isrealis are blamed for EVERYTHING. I know thats not true, but some people wish it was so bad it hurts. Particularly Arab Muslims. Out of one side of their mouths they say it is impossible that Muslims can commit acts of terrorism because it is against Islam. Out of the other side they say they have a right to Jihad against non-believers. Palisinian militants constantly claim a right to "resistance" against Isreali occupation. As if blowing up a bunch of people in a bus or mall is somehow a defensive act of resistance. The current state of occupation is a situation totally created by the Palistinian militant groups. What gives?
Should I even care anymore? Someone said that peace will be achived in Isreal and Palastine when the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews. I think that is a very true statement. Unfortunately I dont think the Arabs are anywhere near that.

I'm not an idiot.
Idiots are usually people who would rather call people names than have an open discussion. Surely you have read some of the conspiricy theorys posted on this site. Some of them are so offensive its unbelievable. I was just trying to tap into that sentiment. That fact that no one seems to be buying into my idea actually makes me feel a little better. I think conspiricy theorys are a result of overactive imagination and over analysis of the facts. Usually the simplest expanation is the one that is the closest to the truth. Of course people who engage in conspiricies know this, and use it to their advantage....

My apologies if your post was a ruse to get the jew-haters to rise.
Well done. It got me going.
Mainly because this very same theory has been kicked around on another thread "5 terrorist attacks in last 48 hours" by sheep and another jackass.

There are an awful lot of anti-semitic people who post on this site. I find that ironic considering that this is supposed to be a "progressive" news site. But I guess thats what you get when you allow anyone to post what they want. I would not change it, It keeps things lively. But it can be a little depressing.

Please...they don't like the term "anti-Semetic". They prefer "anti-Zionist".
Me? I like "Jew hater". Fits 'em better. Gets right to the point.
Yeah, it's kind of strange to find so much hatred for Jews on a supposedly progressive site...sympathy for the downtrodden, and all that. But it looks like anti-semitism is the last "acceptable" bigotry...at least among the oh-so-enlightened Left.
