PRO-WAR ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS CONTINUE TO SQUARE OFF


Pro war zealot sets up shop in peace activist corner
Pro-war and antiwar demonstrators are continuing their weekly showdown in Brea. The so called "Pro American" freedom lovers waved flags and held signs that read support our troops and victory. A man who claimed to be doing Gods work, parked a cart with American flags and a 6' tall wooden cross on the peace corner. It was an electricaly charged atmosphere with 2 car accidents, and demonstrators and motoristist exchanging words and sometimes more. About 3pm a man jumped out of his car and attacked a 12 year old child and his 17 year old friend who were demonstrating by themselves on the other corner. The young boys fended the man off and hit him with their signs. In another incedent a pro-war woman punched a peacenick chick in the face while walking by. Another man showed up with a sign that read Trust Sadam, moching the peace activisits.
Anti-war demonstrators have now shifted their motive to raise awareness to the U.S. occupation of Iraq and the motivations behind it. Marcus the the outspoken Vietnam Viet anti-war protestor show waving the flag, will be speaking in Whittier this friday at 7:30 PM which I will post the details of. These dedicated peace activists are heavily out numbered and invite all peace activists and liberal political junkies suffering from protest withdrawal to come to Brea and help raise awarness of what is being done in their name.


Brea police force zealot to pack up 		The Brea Police Dept. have been very helpfull and courtious to all the deomonstrators respecting the rights of both sides, unlike the thugs in Hollywood who beat protestors. This is such a nice place to demonstrate or just sit back in the pattio area and enjoy a refreshment from one of the many restaurants in the courtyard just behind the peace corner. This demonstration started with three guys coming out with signs and now has exploded, capturing the attention of the city. You have journalist students, local televison media, and counter demonstrators all gathering for quite the spectical. Also there is a nice park down the road with a skatepark and basketball court.
I think the main diffrence between the anti-war and the pro-war people is the issue of race. Any one who is pro-war seems to be dividing race and nation in a sort of us against them. The anti-war people are genuinley not racisist and do not belive the orwelian propoganda that they sholud hate the muslim world cause they are out to destroy America.
