A Muslim Hajj is a peaceful spiritual walk, usually related to the holy sites in Islam. The pilgrimage is done with love and peace every year or more by the devout. I am calling for a Hajj. Going back to the sixties when a guy I can't remember said- "you have to throw your body on the cogs of the machine." We cannot fight for peace from our cozy homes in America or Australia or the United Nations Itself. We have to fight in the very frontline of the war. It has to be a massive movement, greater than the concentration of all of the troops stationed there and as diverse in color. And it has to be immediate. The pope or some other figure could lead the way. We have to find a way to get to the border, perhaps a muslim country will help us. We must all walk hand in hand, 300,000- a million people, across the border, into the fire, and make them stop. The only way is en masse because they could not, for fear of being hanged, fire upon that many people from international countries together at once- it would surely be their downfall. We should carry supplies, and coordinate it with relief agencies. First Kofi Anan has to order a cease fire because of the Depleted Uranium, then we will try to march across. I believe in this Idea, can anybody make it happen, it sure would revive the airlines(har har) and Iraq is a nice place to spend spring break.
