I was arrested at the corner of Sunset and La Brea at the Oscars anti-war rally on Sunday the 23rd of March. I was arrested for waiving my posters on a public sidewalk and after I put my signs down I was arrested for refusing to leave a public sidewalk while I was waiting for my husband. I asked the 10 police officers that were there what law says I can't wait for my husband on a public sidewalk, and I was told that I couldn't wait there because I had poster boards with me. One officer told me that his badge was the law. I was alone when all this happaned and I know several people passed by and one reporter witnessed the event but they all left and I couldn't get their information to contact them to testify.
