CNN Demonstration ends in many arrests. LAPD while showing restraint still manages to intimidate and harass.
How did you get that close from the horses? Do you have a Press ID? Did you get arrested? Please tell us your story.
No I don't have a press pass and I didn't get arrested --maybe that was luck.
My thought is the mounted police were serving as a four legged barricade, as long as you were in front of the horses you were ok.
Today (3/23) was very brutal. The police beat up several people with only a few arrests. The negative news of major arrests during the Awards probably had something to do with the low number.
Keep up the great work,
Thanks for the reply, and Wow! for the pictures, Yea today was nerve wrecking. I have been doing this the last five days, and I am exhausted.
