Al Qaeda attacks 101st Airborne

by Jin Beikins Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 11:51 PM

Reports of Terror Attack on US Troops

got your linkage right here, protestors.

No evidence

by Tricky Dick Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 12:46 AM

Because Al Qaeda engages in attacks against U.S. troops doesn't mean that they are acting at the behest of Saddam Hussein.

What shows is that they, like millions of other people in the Middle East, passionately hate the United States for invading Iraq.

Misinformed Idiots

Kaffir Please!

They hate them cause they are Kaffirs (unblievers)

Go hug a jihadi. Moron. Feel the peace love and understanding of these people. BOOM!

Doublespeak

by Orwell Decoded Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 1:49 AM

No, it's not a terror attack, it's called "defense."

It may have been a Fraggin. . .

by Point Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 3:10 AM

It is now being reported that an American soldier is under arrest in connection with the grenade attack.

Officers were Fragged.

by No Longer Amused Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 3:51 AM

This would just be a tragedy, and the anti-war crowd could've said "We predicted bad things like this would happen." Unfortunately, that giant banner at the SF rally saying "We Support our Troops - If They SHOOT their officers" is already all over the web. So the anti-war crowd was already publicly advocating this exact act. In the PR war they just shot themselves in the foot with the banner, then reloaded and shot some more.

They will actually suffer less damage if the soldier is named Muhammed. That would just be yet another wacko attack.

one has to wonder

by joe Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 4:13 AM

if that banner was held by an agent provocateur. Regardless, your point is well taken. Shot in the foot indeed.

I don't even like it when people go around talking about "pigs." Cops are just people. Some of them are actually relatively liberal and aware -- even though that's only a minority. In any event, pissing all over the opposition really isn't a way to win the battle for the hearts and minds of America, and revolution just isn't going to happen, so I tire of the radical dogma (even though I define myself as a radical).

Nothing to see here

by No Longer Amused Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 5:05 AM

It now looks probable that he was a Black Muslim like the DC sniper. Nothing much new here. He possibly has friends who are already in prison. He might even be a prison convert. The news networks and military are apparently quieting the story, since there's no upside for anybody, all politics aside. From now on he is just a disgruntled technical sergent.

So nothing to see here folks. Move along. Move along.
