Here are some good ideas for T-shirts, signs, or full page advertorials!

The refutation is convincing

by Sloganeer Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 7:16 AM

Interesting... posting twice in disagreement with the mob constitutes "trolling".

Your refutation is very convincing. The name-calling as opposed to addressing the points of Hussein barbarism vs. inaction has convinced me.

Invade Enron not Iraq!!!!

do you know how to goose step sloganeer?ner?

by andrew Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 8:28 AM

Remember what George Orwell said about patriots - they are well informed about the atrocities committed by the enemy, but they have a remarkable tendency to ignore, and to not even hear about, the atrocities committed by his own side.

Do you think Bush's barbarism is a good response to Saddam's barbarism? What you get is just more barbarism - but apparently that's okay for you. That's probably why you are sympathetic to republicans - when they are confronted with a difficult situation they prefer to blow it up or put it in prison.

You lose the moral high-ground very quickly since the difference between your approach and Saddam's approach is that you have a vast army. If Saddam had the resources that Bush does, he would be doing exactly the same thing.

Now stop right there

by Bernard Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 9:07 AM

Just like that you compare "Bush's barbarism" to "Saddam's barbarism". The US military spends billions of dollars on technology to avoid hitting civilians. Saddam gasses them.

You have really got your mind into a twist, I just wish you know what it is like to live under a tyrant with no hope of ever being free from fear, even in your own home. Then perhaps you wouldn't be so quick to use words like "Bush junta".

At least you know you can vote them out in a year or two.

Pull yourself together people and stop attacking your own country. The US has done more in the last century for human freedom and dignity than any other country.

i live in fear

by brian Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 2:28 PM

You say that we have no idea wat its like to live in fear for our homes. Bullshit. We live in fear of unemployment, homelessness, and hunger. And ya sure we can vote them out every four years. But they just finish wat the other corperate tyrant started.

What?!

by Self Determined Sunday, Mar. 23, 2003 at 3:42 PM

What? You live in fear of unemployment? Whose job is it to make sure you have a job? I have always taken responsibility for finding myself a job. You live in fear of homelessness? I provide my own shelter. We are fortunate enough to live in a country where we can determine our own success and before you begin the usual rant about discrimination, I am a minority, was not born with money and never finished college. I still manage to remain gainfully employed and have done so since I was 16. The sense of entitlement apparent in your comment makes you sound like a spoiled child that needs everything to be done for him/her. Where is your self respect?

You must realize that the word 'troll' has special meaning on Indymedia. The English translation is 'intelligent person.'

Your slogans are indeed hot. I particularly like the first one: "Stop the War. Let Saddam be!"

However, I'd prefer to see the protesters carrying signs that were a bit more honest than the ones they've been carrying. For example:

"Thanks To The Rich For Paying 90% Of All Taxes."

"Capitalism Rocks!"

"Bush, Lincoln, & JFK"

"Iraqi Oil for the Iraqi People"

"Free Iraq"

If You fear Homelessness get a job!

by American Girl Monday, Mar. 24, 2003 at 3:39 AM

If your so scared of homelessness or unemployment...Get a job! Don't throw stupid stuff up there just so you have something to complain about. Your really reaching for an excuse with that comment.

Bush Admirer thanks for your valued imput! At least someone gets it!

Hey, Bush Admirer, if you have a job...that answers the question of where trash is employed.
