On Sunday, March 9 at 8pm, FX will be showing an original movie entitled "The Pentagon Papers" which documents the true story of Daniel Ellsberg and the release of the 7000 page classified Department of Defense document during the Vietnam war.

The story of Ellsberg is an important story of a committed Pentagon official turned whistleblower, and it is argued that the release of the Pentagon Papers played a significant role in bringing the Vietnam war to an end, not to mentionthe Nixon presidency.

The story of Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers is very relevant today for anti-war activists and the timely release of this movie could provide many opportunities to widen the debate on the issues of government secrecy and complicity in driving the nation towards war.
