The Game of Their Lives... is the story of how a group of hitherto unknown soccer players from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) performed one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history – and promptly vanished back into oblivion.

This remarkable film documents the World Cup soccer success of the 1966 North Korean team, the first from Asia ever to reach the quarterfinals of this tournament. England was the host of those games. South Korean fans at last year's Korea/Japan World Cup held up signs saying "Again 1966" in recognition of this historic feat of their countrymen.

At a time when U.S.-D.P.R.K. relations are fragile, The Games of Their Lives… offers a rare, human view of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, and shows the potential of sport as a means of reconciliation.

Dan Gordon, the director, and Nicholas Bonner, the associate producer, will attend the screening and are available for interviews.

DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND PEACE!!
