VOTE NOW! to defend actor /activist David Clennon

by Activist Saturday, Feb. 08, 2003 at 9:31 PM

Please take 10 seconds to support our friend David Clennon, one of the most committed, progressive actors in Hollywood. Wherever people are protesting for labor rights, civil rights, peace or justice, there you'll find Dave Clennon. He stuck his neck out the other night onHannity's talk show, and now some apparently want him fired from his CBS series.

Wherever people are protesting for labor rights, civil rights, peace or justice, there you'll find Dave Clennon. He stuck his neck out the other night onHannity's talk show, and now some apparently want him fired from his CBS series. The website below is conducting an unscientific "poll" that they will send on to "decision makers" at CBS. As of Friday afternoon, blacklisting David is currently winning big in the poll. Feel free to vote for free speech. And tell your friends.

David Clennon compared Bush to Hitler, CBS should kick him off the air

We have free speech in America; people should not lose their jobs for their opinions

We'll send your vote to CBS.

On Sean Hannity's radio show, TV star David Clennon derided Bush by likening the current US "moral climate" to Nazi Germany under Hitler. Clennon is irresponsible and out of line! CBS should fire him and teach him a lesson!

TV stars don't have to agree with political leaders and actors are entitled to their own opinions. We are protected by freedom of speech, if you don't like what he says, don't listen, but he's got the right to say it! Don't Fire him!

Fire him!

by Jan Errico Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003 at 6:16 PM

I am sick of actors and musicians using their fame as a forum for spouting anti-american propaganda. It is one thing to disagree with the policies of the current administration, but it crosses the line to call our President names and liken him to one of the worst fascists history has ever seen. What many of these elitist Hollywood types don't realize is that they are out of touch with the American people, and what scares them is that our President isn't!

Since when has dissent become ' anti american'?

Whaddya mean "using their fame"? You didn't even know who this guy was until you read this article. But because he has an opinion, he should be fired? What line was crossed, the one YOU decide on? It certainly isn't across any constitutional line, and public figures such as the Shrub (piece of facist shit that he is, worst than Hitler because he is alive and Hitler is dead....so fire me!) are just the type of people the law allows criticism for.

You are Anti-American for abandoning the Constituion of your country for blind allegiance to your goosestepping leader, people like you who have no tolerance for anything that doesn't look, sound, or think just like YOU disgust me.

Fire Him Now

by Forrest Mahon Monday, Mar. 17, 2003 at 2:13 AM

I find Clennon's remark that Bush and Hitler are the same very curious. Over my lifetime I have heard many people like Clennon exclaiming how intelligent Hitler was and how he almost bla-bla-bla. My responce is always the same. If he was so bright how come he got so very dead so very young. Fire that scum now

You mean Bush, right?

I agree, Hitler at least, served his country in

combat, lunitic that he was.

Stay in your make believe world and quit inflicting your childlike belief system on the rest of us out here. Make your movies, shut your pie-hole. If Bush were like Hitler you would now be non-existent but instead you are merely another under educated overpaid clown dancing for your bosses amusement in Hollyweird.
