Words from a Great Anti-War Speaker

by Jay Lowe Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 at 11:02 AM

NO ONE is more opposed to the proposed US war in Iraq that this man. . . Saddam Hussein. See what he has to say:

Nassar: "Mr. President, do you think that time is working in your favor, or against you?"

Saddam: "No doubt, time is working for us. WE HAVE TO BUY SOME MORE TIME, and THE AMERICAN-BRITISH COALITION WILL DISINTEGRATE BECAUSE OF INTERNAL REASONS AND THE PRESSURE OF PUBLIC OPINION IN THE AMERICAN BRITISH STREET.

So let there be know doubt -- by protesting this war, you are doing EXACTLY what this sadistic, murderous dictator wants.

That is the grand tradition of the Left in this country.

The Rev.

I am interested that you put so much faith in the wisdom of Saddam Husein. Hitler, Mousollini and a host of others are great sources of wisdom to support any point of view.

wrong on opposition

Jay, you got it wrong, NO ONE is more opposed to the proposed US war in Iraq then ME.

My name is John Svernin. I live in Fontana right near the 10. Saddam can fry in hell for all I care. So can those fuckers in the white house.

how about the handful of republican congressmen (like ron paul) who oppose this war from the anti-interventionist standpoint? are they playing right into saddam's hands? is this the legacy of the non-interventionist far right?

get real, guy. saddam is opposed to the war. big surprise. im sure EVERYONE on the other side of us intervention were (surprise!) opposed to it, too...
