FIGHT ISOLATION TO DEFEAT THE GOVERNMENT AND ITS PLANS!

A week into the conflict, around the 15 demands of national character, the repression has been savage and with no limits. After having assassinated 6 comrades with lead bullets, the downs suffered by the "rentistas" comrades, & the dozens of injured & hundreds of arrests. Sections of the bourgeoisie like the chamber of private business & others have started to raise their voice calling for a state of siege to give a green light to the repressive forces.
Like we said on prior declarations, this first combat between the mass movement and the "gonismo" is of a decisive character, since what imperialism, the business chambers, the set of the bourgeoisie are looking for is to aim a decisive blow that would allow them to incline the balance of power relations in a categorical way enabling them to apply in the next months the set of plans of surrender of natural resources like GAS, the reduction in the education and health budgets, and advance in the total surrender of the nation to imperialism thru the FTAA.
The decisive character of the fight is what makes the politics of the different directions, like Malku, the direction of the cooperative miners, the COB, MST, and others truly criminal, since it not only strengthens the repression maintaining the isolation of the conflicts in course, but it allows the government to gain time to decompress the situation and begin gaining a power relation in their favor that would allow them to stab defeat to the most advance organized sector formed mainly by the cocaleros.

Fight isolation and nationalize the conflict

Because of the isolation of the sectors in conflict, provoked by the criminal politics of the union bureaucracies, labor as peasant, and by the shameful truce of more than four months that has only disorganized the workers, peasants, and popular movement the cupola of the MAS has called for the formation of a "peoples mayor state" formed by some COD's, peasant Federations and other minor sectors. Although, the development of this organizational instance is not enough to defeat the "gonismo" and it's plans, since the formal addition of some leaders to this coordination instance is pointless if the bases of the different sectors don't find a channel to express, organize and finally mobilize to take forward a great general strike with road blockades of a national character that expels the "gonismo" from power.
This "peoples mayor state" if it wants to be such, that is, to the service of overthrowing the government and not a mere instance to find a way to dialogue on a better power relation, has to be based in a real participation of the ones that put their body and their blood in the field, roads, and factories of the country: the base workers. Is necessary to impose the function under a base of revocable delegates to discuss the steps to follow, to fight the actual isolation and to force a real unified national plan of struggle
