In Celebration of Martin Luther King JR. Day

NIXON LIBRARY ANTI-WAR PROTEST SATURDAY JAN. 18!!
(Please pass around far & Wide)

***REVOLUTION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION***

In the spirit of Martin Luther Kings Jr. we ask that
you join us on Jan 18 in Yorba Linda as we march to
the Richard Nixon Presidential Library to say NO MORE
WAR!!

Remember! Celebrate! Act!
A Day On, Not A Day Off!!

It is a time for the nation to remember the injustices
that Dr. King fought. A time to remember his fight for
the freedom, equality, and dignity of all races and
peoples. A time to remember the message of change.

We feel that the United States should not attack Iraq.
According to Pentagon war could kill 12,000 Iraqi
civilians not to mention several young American men
and women. An attack on Iraq will have nothing to do
with stopping terrorism. It will have nothing to do
with the liberation of the Iraqi people. And it will
be only marginally concerned with weapons of mass
destruction. At a time when we have looming challenges
at home, including health insurance, poverty rates,
education, and more, it does not make sense to spend
$80 billion or more halfway around the world.

"Somehow this madness must cease. We must stop now. I
speak as a child of God and brother to the suffering
poor of Vietnam.I speak for those whose land is being
laid waste, whose homes are being destroyed, whose
culture is being subverted. I speak for the poor in
America who are paying the double price of smashed
hopes at home and death and corruption in Vietnam. I
speak as a citizen of the world, for the world as it
stands aghast at the path we have taken. I speak as an American to the
leaders of my own nation. The great initiative in this war is ours. The
initiative to stop
it must be ours."

-Martin Luther King, Jr., The Trumpet of Conscience,
1967.-
