Isn't that

by T-Mex Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002 at 9:29 PM

what you guys said about the LAST war???

But it turns out, you were wrong. . . it wasn't about oil. In fact, after the war was over, the US put an embargo on Iraqi oil sales. . .

I guess I can understand. . . you've got a lot of buttons left from '91, when the anti-war movement never "gelled". (Largely because, contrary to the dire predictions of the Left, the war ended quickly.)

Do you guys ever get tired of being wrong?

You know, It's hard to really understand WHAT the war was about.

We lured Iraq into Kuwait then killed a shit load of people

bombed the infrastructure as if we were fighting the whole

German army in a five year war; then once we had Saddam, we

left and allowed him to kill a shit load of Kurds.

Yeah, what WAS that all about?

If the oil was under embargo, and never sold, it must all still be there, stockpiled.

Waiting for Bush to 'liberate' it.

We lured

the Iraqi's into invading???

For 10 years, the Left has been trying to tell us that when April Glaspie said "we take no position with regard to your border dispute" that meant -- "feel free to annex Kuwait. . ."

These Leftists must think we are pretty stupid.

But its the old -- "everything is America's fault." The Iraqi's aren't responsible for invading Kuwait -- we are!

"You can't blame Iraq for sending 30,000 troops into Kuwait!!! Gosh, they're not capable of seeing how wrong that is, they're just a bunch of A-Rabs!"

This is the sort of pretzel logic one must use to be a Leftist. No wonder they all have college degrees! You can't learn that sort of thinking in the real world!

Just curious...

Do you and BA take alternate shifts at the moron roster?

You challenge the statements without backup data.

Bluster and pomposity are really thin substitutes for

information.

...so it wasn't about oil because when the last war was over...wait...when WAS the last war over...

...since we never stopped military actions there, I put it to you that it was NEVER over, it is the same war, and it is about the same thing...OIL!

...now, SheMex, I know with your limited mental facilities it is hard for you to think in terms of the bigger picture...but luckily most Americans aren't as willfully ignorant as you...although I sure that you fantasize that they are...

SheMex : "These Leftist must think we are pretty stupid"

Ummm, HELLO?!?!?! IS THIS THING ON????
