Paul Wellstone (1944-2002)
Presente!
"The man who began burning bridges with the Bush family when he challenged then-President Bush's Persian Gulf War preparations on their first meeting (â Who is this chickenshit?â Bush Sr. asked)... Paul Wellstone is a hunted man... not just another Democrat on White House political czar Karl Rove's target list... Rather, getting rid of Wellstone is a passion for Rove, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush... â There are people in the White House who wake up in the morning thinking about how they will defeat Paul Wellstone,â a senior Republican aide confides." - from The Nation, May 9, 2002
With the Congress approving the use of force in Iraq. . . what kind of a lunatic would believe that the administration would have Wellstone killed??
Desperation at work on the Left.
If you want to spin theories of likely assassins, then look no further than the (anti)Democratic Party and it's titular head, Terry McAuliffe. Wellstone was a far lefty that embarrassed the party's attempts to appeal to more mainstream voters. He was also likely to lose his seat in the Senate, something that the (anti)Democrats cannot tolerate. They are pulling out all the stops: Running a dead person in Hawaii, finding dead voters coast to coast, violating laws to appoint their own candidate to run in New Jersey. Wellstone was outside the Clinton-McAuliffe circle, and a weak link. A sympathy candidate would almost certainly triumph in his stead. Smoke on that one, Lefty.
You're speculating too, rube.
Smoke on THAT.
OUCH!
hehehehehehe
Canada Is Free. Check it out.
Yeah - it's becoming quite a dictatorship. That's because it is influenced by the USA.
Sure likes to promote old North and Free.
I like the elk there.
