The Russians are Coming to the Unitarian Church

Dear Friends,

A delegation of five Russias will participate in a discussion of "Government, Federalism

and Politics in the United States." They have come to Long Beach as part of the Sister City Program and are being hosted by Rita Powell and Richard Madiera, members of the Long Beach Area Peace Network. The discussion will focus on the events following the attacks of September 11, 2001, how our country and our government have been affected.

Also invited to give presentations and create a dialogue are several groups, including the Green

Party, the Long Beach Peace Network, the ACLU, the Justice Coalition, the Grey Panthers, the Campus Progressives (CSULB), the Progressive Alliance (LBCC-LAC) and the Sierra Club. Everyone welcome; please join us.
