Aprox 200 people marched today in Long Beach against the increasing brutality used by the LBPD on poor people in Long Beach. There were no arrests and the protestors were succesful in putting on a snake march which led through down town long beach and made it down Pine Street. The march had a large contingent of local Anarchists some with shields, who the LBPD did not dare attack this time. Times have changed since May 1, 2001.

yea its great that no one was arrested and the pigs backed off but unfortunelty things have changed not for the better for the worst. dont forget it s more of a police state than it ever was and a single act examplifies the scene
