Vandals spray graffiti at home of immigration-reform advocate
Incident at Barbara Coe's Huntington Beach residence is being investigated as a possible hate crime.

By GARY ROBBINS The Orange County Register
Huntington Beach police are investigating graffiti sprayed at the home of an immigration-reform activist as a possible hate crime.
Barbara Coe, an advocate of anti-illegal-immigrant measures, said she returned home about 3 p.m. Sunday to find the words "racist" and "anarchy" sprayed on her garage. Profanity was sprayed on the sidewalk in front of her Castle Lane home, police said.
"Frankly, I think this was retaliation for the rally at Anaheim City Hall," said Coe, who is president of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform.
Her group organized a Dec. 8 rally opposing the Anaheim Police Department's decision to accept Mexican consulate cards as identification. A brief brawl erupted during the rally among 20 to 30 people who support and oppose the ID policy.

Although I don't agree with what was done to Coe's house, to classify it as a hate crime is ridiculous. Whoever targeted her did so based on her ideologies, not her race.

Way to set the cause of reason back, morons. Why don't you just spray "Dumbass" on yourselves?

the second the colonialist plutocrat rich fucks set on this contintent, it was a HATE CRIME. California, let alone this contentinent doesn't belong to them. I think Aztlan Underground said it best, "GET THE FUCK OUT!". Fascist fucks deserve to be vandalized until they get it through their heads that their racist shit won't be tolerated anymore.
Over 500 years of oppression, and you call the vandalz a "hate crime"?
You're existance is a hate crime.

As someone who once lived in Barbara Coe's neighborhood, I am so very, very, very, very glad to see this wonderful educational spraypainting being done. If the people in her neighborhood knew her racist hateful beliefs, I'm sure they wouldn't want her there. It's about time they are made aware of her evil presence!
And as far as a hate crime, the HBPD are a hate crime in action every day. They are a bunch of racist fucks who consider anything targeted at a white person as a hate crime. My friend, who happens to be latino, was waiting outside a bar in HB while his friend went to get the car. The HBPD drove up while he was waiting. He told them he was waiting for his friend to come back with the car, but before his friend could get back, they literally ABDUCTED him, and threw him in back of a police car. They said they were taking him in for being drunk in public. But instead of taking him in, they took him to an empty field and beat him, while calling him all sorts of racist things. Then they just left him there to die. Talk about hate crimes!
Huntington Beach is the skinhead capital of California, and the police are a bunch of skinhead nazi fucks. Try hanging out downtown on Main Street for a couple hours without seeing someone with a swastika tattoo walk by -- it's impossible. Barbara Coe and her racist ilk in Huntington Beach deserve much worse than a little spraypaint. Let's not forget Coe's Proposition 187, which scared thousands in to avoiding getting necessary health care, and resulted in the deaths of over 100 people, including a little boy in Orange County. When are Barbara Coe and the HBPD going to be charged with the hate crimes and murders they commit?
