Since S11 racists have been targeting middle eastern people in our community. Recently Jewish Defense League, a racist militiant fundamentalist group, tried to bomb a mosque and was caught. If our community is to be strong we must pull together a strong defense for a middle eastern sisters and brothers. We must go into this community and listen to their needs and offer to help in the defense of the community in any way possible. Community Defense Brigade will be for setting up security watches for potential targets of racist attacks (Mosques will be first on our agenda). Obviously we will be needing a lot of volunteers for this operation. The CDB comes togther on these points of unity:

1. We come together to build awareness and protection for our community against any attacks

2. We want to build a community in a anti-patriarchal, anti-authoritarian fashion

3. We come not to dominate and tokenize our community, but to listen and learn from it as well as offer service.

4. We welcome a diversity of tactics

CDB will have a meeting at A-Occassions Community Center on Thursday December 20th @ 8:00pm.
