by MO Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001 at 8:40 PM

Immigration must be stopped since it drives down wages and causes displacement and ethnic cleansing.

LABOR UNIONS KICK AMERICAN WORKERS IN THE TEETH!!!!!

Immigration should be ended to raise wages.

Big Labor Joins With Big Business (And Big Churches) To Betray American Workers

By Sam Francis

One reason for the mass immigration into this country that is revolutionizing our economy, our political institutions and our culture is that it's very useful for failed or failing institutions that can't survive without lots of immigrants to take the place of Americans who have lost interest. Churches are one example: As American church attendance drops, church leaders rattle the tambourines for more immigration to fill their empty pews. But on the empty pew front, churches have nothing on labor unions.

The Only Reason This Racist Crap Is Here Is..

What Garbage!

by labor organizer Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001 at 6:47 PM

I'm glad that the labor movement is finally putting some energy into organizaing as opposed to political lobbying. Labor realizes that its fate is tied to the well-being of workers no matter which nation we come from. Workers are a class and we need to act as a class just as the capitalists do. Here's to more cross-border organizing, organizing immigrants, etc.

To Mr organizer:

Then it should be the responsibility of immigration advocates such as yourself to house clothe and provide medical care to these immigrants. It shouldn't fall on the back of the American working class. Bush looks at Mexico and sees 100,000,000 scabs and you are playing right into his hands. Only immigrants who agree to uphold labor standards and practice birth control should be let into the US. There should also be mandatory prison sentences followed by immediate deportations of those who are here illegally.

The American working class is being forced to subsidize its own displacement by cheap labor and then vilified as racist if they object. Keep doing the bidding of Bush and Greenspan Mr Labor organizer. Some of us have you sussed. The positive outcome of September 11th is that FINALLY there will be immigration restrictions.

Racists Pitted Labor vs. Integration, Too!

This racist crap is virtually identical to the arguments made to keep the US working class divided along racial lines. Lying racist SOBs like this one are the bosses best friends. Above all what they do is get folks so angry that they can't think straight. Anger tends to interfere with the ability to think things through, to see the big picture. And, of course, seeing the big picture, organizing across borders is PRECISELY what we need to do in over to counter the same sort of organizing by international capitalists.

Now, did any illegal immigrant rob Californian energy consumers of $50 billion? No. Bush's buddy Ken Lay & his bandito friends in Enron's top management did that. Did any illegal immigrant rob the workers at Enron of their hard-earned pensions? Again, no. Bush's buddy Ken Lay & his bandito friends in Enron's top management did that.

Mostly, illegal immigrants take jobs that in no way compete with union firms. This is a commentary on how conservative the US labor movement was after the "reds" were purged in the early Cold War era. Organizing the whole working class was never part of the AFL-CIO agenda. Hence, as the economy changed, their strength declined, their base was politically isolated, and they were ill-prepared to defend their gains, once the ruling capitalist class decided it was time to break the social contract.

There are *some* industries where illegal immigrants do jobs that once were unionized. Meatpacking is a prime example. But this could never have happened if the unions hadn't neglected organizing for so many years beforehand. This racist SOB wants us to keep fighting a backward-looking inter-class war with other workers, rather than learning our lessons from the past, and developing a new strategy for the future. That's what reactionary racists always do. Look back to the past and repeat the same old mistakes all over again.

Once upon a time, you could excuse a racist on the basis, "Well, that's just the way they were raised. Everyone around them thought the same way. They had no way to know any better." If that excuse was ever valid (since there were *always* exceptions to disprove it), it no longer is today. This racist crap belongs in the history books, and nowhere else!

You idiot.

"Mostly, illegal immigrants take jobs that in no way compete with union firms."

Did it ever occur to you that if there were not so many illegal immigrants here the jobs you're referring to would be high wage union jobs? Without the surplus of labor willing to work illegally for shit money these businesses would have to pay higher wages. Your kind of absurb myopia pervades pro-immigration propaganda.

For the record: I would put the "bosses" in prison or in front of a firing squad!
