Capitalist Globalisation continues. While activists are being distracted by the "war on terrorism", the global capitalists have resumed their war on us-WTO still meeting in Qatar,IMF/World Bank meeting moved to Ottawa, Canada- and now the World Economic Forum's East Asia Economic Summit.
While most of us are busy fighting back against AmeriKKKa's "war on terrorism" and its gutting of fundamental rights, the world capitalists are taking advantage of the situation and resuming the discussion of plans for furthering corporate rule. The WTO is preparing to meet in Qatar, the IMF/World Bank has moved its meeting to Ottawa, Canada on November 17. And right now, the World Economic Forum's East Asia Economic Summit is under way in Hong Kong. Fortunately, this meeting has not gone un-noticed. 400 protesters have so far been successful in defying the government in their protest of capitalist globalisation and the growing unemployment and poverty it is bringing to Asia. See link to Seattle Indymedia for full story.
Speaking of Asia, anyone know why there are no Indymedia outlets in Asian countries? Just curious.
