Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council has given the Central City Association a business group, a permanant seat on their Neighborhood Council. This decision, though contentuous, goes towards the creation of the groups bylaws. When the process is finished, the Council will present their organization for certification in front of the Department for Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) . If ceritfied, the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council will be the representative body of the neighborhood to the city.
