Scott and three fellow peace activists are facing

harsh, transparently politically motivated sentencing on October 15,

before a judge who gagged them when they tried to present a defense

based on necessity, as supported by universal humanitarian principles

as well as international and treaty laws to which the US is signatory.

I wish to urge all people of conscience who can make it to attend their

sentencing on October 15. We must not remain silent before the repression

of these voices of principled and compassionate resistance to violence!
