This 7 minute documentary is about a woman named Concha who lives and works as a farm worker in the United States legally but under the condition that she may not cross the border again. She has this work permit, and was forced to make the decision to live in the US or never enter it again five years ago.
Now she lives in Calexico but her children live only a short distance away in the city of Mexicali, but in Mexico.
She's not been able to hug her daughter for over 6 years.
The INS often grants these work permits to avoid granting full citizenship or resident alien rights.
