The San Diego Chapter of the California Coalition for Women Prisoners organized aDemonstration at Las Colinas Women's Detention Facility in Santee, CA. Coalition members and several family members of women prisoners recounted disturbing stories about the prisonsystem. Supporters came from the Old Women's Project, the Libertarian Party, the Peace & Freedom Party, Free Mumia , Free Leonard Peltier, Amnesty International, Biojustice, UCSD students, and concerned citizens.
