Drawing: Andrew Kimbrell speaks about the GE industries irrational motives

Andrew spoke about how, among other things, certain genes and cells that are part of the process that cause breast cancer are owned by individual corporations. He posits that becuase the use off this information is limited by the companies that own these cells and genes, it chills research that could be done by other companies who don't own these properties. He and many others at the conference wonder why it is that a company can own a naturaly occuring cell when they occur everywhere, in my body, your body, etc...
