CALL FOR BLACK BLOC IN SAN DIEGOBIOJUSTICE ACTION

by SKAA Saturday, May. 19, 2001 at 8:25 PM

June 24th-27th the evil scientists and greedy corporate assholes will be meeting in San Diego for the Bio Conference. On june 24th-27th the anarchists will be coming to San Diego to stop this meeting.

June 24th-27th the evil scientists and greedy corporate assholes will be meeting in San Diego for the Bio Conference. On june 24th-27th the anarchists will be coming to San Diego to stop this meeting. On june 24th-27th Bio will wish they never came to SoCal. The Southern Kalifornia Anarchist Alliance is putting out a call for all anti-authoritarians to form up the Earth Liberation Bloc. Although the SoCal area has suffered a hard blow by the authorities, we must not give up. Increase the pressure! We will not stand for the rape of our earth! We suggest (not just the ELB, but everyone in general) that you bring lots of protection equipment. This site has a lot of info on such things. As you saw in Long Beach things can get rough.

We STRONGLY suggest people bring shields.

Bring it on

by A-Day Saturday, May. 19, 2001 at 10:28 PM

Lets show the bio devestators that they will not be allowed to destroy our planet. The blow we suffered in Long Beach has only made us more determined! With 150 people we will probably get our asses kicked again but with 500 we could cause some major trouble!

Spread the Word!

This is serious folks. As these corporations develope more and more mutated plants the risk that contaminated pollen will infect native plants is a reality. If Bio technology is not stopped it could fuck up our ecosystem forever!

Life or Death Situation

"As these corporations develope more and more mutated plants the risk that contaminated pollen will infect native plants is a reality. If Bio technology is not stopped it could fuck up our ecosystem forever!"

This has already happened. A large percentage of corn products which are supposed to have non-Frankenfood corn are contaminated with it, due to the fact that farmers often grow both sorts of corn -- natural and genetically engineered -- on one farm, and Frankenfood corn pollen can drift from one farm and infect a farm with real corn and turn it in to cancerous deadly Frankenfood, too.

rGBH has been banned in all industrialized countries except the U.S. because tests have proved it causes cancer. But since these corporations are based in the U.S., they make large contributions to republikkkans and demokkkrats to get their cancerous chemicals labeled as food and in to the stuff we consume.

My only hope is that if we don't stop it, that the human race dies off SOON, before all the rest of the life we share this planet with are murdered too by greedy corporate CEOs who think they can control the world. This is a struggle for life on earth now. Either we put an end to the corporate policies of profiteering scum, or we are all destined to die.

skaa bores the fuck out of me

by a. Tuesday, May. 22, 2001 at 1:40 PM

hey skaa...

i'm getting sick of seeing you guys around going on and on about how revolutionary you are, but not

accomplishing shit. when was the last time you did anything that had any effect besides getting yourselves and other people arrested? i always see you doing things that i guess you think are fun, but are totally pointless. trying to tear down that little fence in san diego, getting beat up and arrested in long beach, etc...

"who's sexy?" "black bloc!" why the fuck are so many kids in the black bloc only down for the "sexy" part of the movement? sure, antagonizing police makes you feel cool and revolutionary, but the revolution will not happen without those of us who are doing community organizing, education, etc. i'm not condemning black bloc (i'm a black bloc-er who has been in blocs with you)... i'm just criticizing those in the bloc who don't do anything except for when it comes time to put on a bandana and get arrested.

consider this a challenge.

you're going to san diego for the bio conference. i can tell you right now that 15 white guys and a few tokenwomen and people of colour are not going to be able to shut it down. you'll get your asses kicked and hauled off to jail faster than you can say "we're so revolutionary!" so here's the challenge:

i dare you to go down to san diego a bit early. figure out what's going on, where the various parts of the conference will be taking place, scout them out, and come up with something creative to do. plan what you're going to do before you do it for once. san diego is full of things that you could do that would be much more tactically effective than parading around in your sexy black clothes looking for something to smash.

i double dare you, boys. get over yourselves and your macho "i just wanna break something" bullshit. you bore me.

Arrogant Asshole

by A-Day Tuesday, May. 22, 2001 at 10:05 PM

You dont know who we are or what we do!

SKAA is not an organization, nor does it partake in legal activities.

As for the pepole who participate within it, they all do other types of organizing/community work.

What do you do besides complain and throw around the race card all the time?

I've heard you before on the LA anarchist list and you are what's boring.

Why are you so against what SKAA does?

hmmm

by a. Wednesday, May. 23, 2001 at 7:45 PM

you've heard me before on the la anarchist list? funny, 'cuz i'm not even on that list (although maybe i should be...do you have the subscription info?) apparently i'm not the only one who has these criticisms of you guys.

as someone who works with you on a regular basis, i understand that you are not an organization, etc. i do know who you are, and quite a few of you consider me a friend.

the challenge for san diego isn't specific to you guys, although i do think that you are the ones who need it most. before any of us go do something down there, we should go scout and figure out what the deal is first.

get defensive all you want, but it won't accomplish anything. every group has its problems, including you. the better we, as a movement, are able to take criticism and learn from it, the stronger we will be.

you won't have my support unless you have some actual tactics behind you. here's some more advice: if the police presence is enormous, LEAVE. Don't be macho idiots. The revolution is everyday, not just protest day.

If you create petty arguments within the ranks, offering challenges or ultimatums, you can draw lines and create angst. It all falls apart. I think the guy offering up his "challenge", is a cop. No one owns a rally. Fuck off man! Think for yourself.
