Announcing civil disobedience beginning now until the World Series.

by Winston Smith Monday, Mar. 26, 2001 at 11:48 AM

.

Announcing civil disobedience beginning now until the World Series.

I seek volunteers to go to exhibition baseball games beginning now in Florida. Bring a hideable but readable cloth sign simply stating "Resign Mr. Bush" If you can get a seat behind home plate and get it shown on Television then even better.

Baseball season will start early in April. Fraud W Bush will go to Milwaukee Wisconsin to watch the Milwaukee Brewers play the Cincinnati Reds. Let's show the Fraud a warm welcome with people bring hideable but readable cloth signs stating "Resign Mr. Bush" that people can see in the stadium and on television.

I encourage people in all major league cities to go to your opening day baseball games with these signs stating "Resign Mr. Bush"

I hope Votermarch and other organizations will also encourage people to do this sign protest at baseball games from exhibiton season to opening day throughout the season and the World Series. We need to embarrass Fraud W Bush at the great American game of Baseball.

If you will definitely will go to opening day baseball games especially in Milwaukee, when Fraud W Bush will go, then email me.

I continue to also tell people to have nothing to do with the following companies and write to them demanding your agenda and to have them relay your agenda to the Republican Congress and Fraud W Bush.

Companies to boycott

AT&T

Coca Cola

Pepsi Cola

Shell Oil

American Express

JC Penney

WalMart

Dell Computers

Florida and Texas Oranges, Grapefruits, Orange juice and Grapefruit juice

and Florida and Texas Tourism

Thank you.

The more protest, the better

It is ok for people to have different ways to show their discontent for the system. For some, it may be having signs at baseball games, for others it may be things such as banner hangings, protests, etc. Although you may not care for one person's idea, those of us who are struggling for change can collectively show our feelings and beliefs in many different ways. I personally would be supportive of something more militant than having a sign at a baseball game, such as a demonstration or sit-in or something like that, but I say more power to those who do hold signs at baseball games! And more power to those who do more militant direct action! Good for those who go out and do something in whatever way they feel comfortable with. Why can't all forms of protest be accepted?

And how about on the flip side?

Nice idear there, Mr. Baseball.... and how about rotating the flip side occasionally to reveal "Mark 3:16", that will really get the pinheads confused.... I kinda forget what 3:16 refers to ... apocalypse?? Hey that might seriously crank it up a notch.... and to really get the national coverage...DON'T forget your rainbow wig!!!

Perhaps you should populate the Duke, Mich St. , Arizona, and Mississippi student websites to get the kids at the Final Four this weekend in on this.... a HUGE sign behind the net held aloft during free throws!!!
