I was unaware of the king parade.

I am white and let me tell you this, I have the "I have a dream" speech on vinyl and I play it almost every time I play. Dr king means alot to me and well to alot of whites I know. The feeling on the dance floor when I bring that speach in over a funky break is something I cannot explain.
