I don't know Bob Black but I disagree that genocide never happened in North America.What I do know is that his accusations that Churchill is an imposter are true . Recently several people have posted "The people doing this are hurting Leanord". That is false. The reason people are doing this is because Ward and Russ have jeapordized Leanords' case for years. Ex:Press Conference accusing AIM of murder. This helped Peltier how? Ex:Ward condemend the Walk For Justice!

I don't konw Bob Black. I do know Ward Churchill, Russ Means, Vernon Bellecourt and Dennis Banks. I know Banks and Bellecourt to be people who have paid their dues as militants. I know Ward Churchill as someone who is living off of their legacy! I know Russ Means to be a sell out.

Churchills "Pathology of Pacifism" although well written must be examined as to who the author is. CHurchill chides pacifism. Ok. He advocates a vague militancy though to which he has never participated in. the only militancy Churchill participated in ever was in killing the indigenous people of Vietnam.As military intelligence. Churchill has never done any militant action for anyone. It is interesting that a man who lives his life in the "Tony" of Boulder Colorado and has never done any action that involved more than a CD arrest. That is right. You know those pacifist officer come arrest me actions Churchill rails against? That is the only action Churchill does. Churchill has a long history of writing the history of AIM and leaving out the militants that have done time in jail. Many of you have a history of buying it.

The issue that many keep bring up that is ridiculous. "This is being done to hurt Leanord". Let us get something straight. Leanord removed Ward as spokesperson because of his attacks against the Walk For Justice led by Dennis Banks during the last ramp up to get Clinton to hear the clemency case in '94. Churchill was speaking publicly calling it a "march for money". I know this for a fact. Why isn't anyone interested in what Ward has done repeatedly to divide AIM? How did he and Means doing press conferences with Branscome last year accusing AIM of murder help Leanord? Hello? Does anyone give a damn? This led to Richard Two Elk to accuse all of them including Peltier of going after Anna Mae? He said what made him do it was his anger at the hyppocrit Means trying to pose as the good guy when he knew Russ was involved. I can not speak to that and will not as I do not want to feed that fire. The question is why don't means and Churchill care enough about Peltier to shut the hell up until Leanord is out? I cannot speak for anyone else who has written on this. I can only speak foer myself. By the way the interviews posted recently of Russ and Ward show they don't give a damn what they say and how it affects others.

It is amazing to see that Ward Churchill has once again found his way into

the web pages of predominantly white controlled media. The man who on his own been kicked off the Leanord Peltier Defense Committee by Leanord Peltier himself for participating in a smear campaign against Dennis Banks and Clyde Bellecourt (co-founders of AIM). He was a writer for the right wing "SOLDIER of FORTUNE" magazine.He taught an orientation class on the American Indian Movement for the South Dakota State Police in the mid 70's (See Jodi Rave interview in News From Indian Country). He has been condemned by Bob Brown of the All African Peoples Revolutionary Party. He has been roundly condemned by "news from Indian country"one of the oldest and most widely respected Indigenous newspapers in the US.

He supports the now right wing Russell Means (who has recntly endorsed the republican party and annouced he is opening a liquor store outside Pine Ridge (see associated press Oct 5,1999)to raise money for an Indian alchohol rehabilitation center and has resigned from theAIM 9 times. Means as well has done speaking engagements for the John Birch society as well as the Reverend Moon (CIA operative since 1952 see Covert Action Back issues for Moon/CIA Connection). He recently refused to be tried in Navaho tribal court for beating his father in law half to death (said Navaho had no right to try a Lakota). Russell is now being called the Eldridge Cleaver or Ron Caringa (former Panthers who turned into right wing evagelicals) of the Indian world.

Ward and Russ along with Glenn Morris actively and openly supported the Contras (there are pics of them with the Contras to prove it) and do not deny it to this day, even though Russ's own brother Bill was in Managua negtotiating a settlement between the Sandanistas and the Indian people of the North West coast of Nicaragua. AIM and the International Indian Treaty Council both stated clearly that Russ was acting unilaterally and undemocratically when he did press conferences with Adolpho Calero (Contra leader) in Honduras. Ward has never been involved in any major action conducted by AIM. He has made as an excuse for the Contra support that he thought the Sandanistas were unfair to the Native population of Nicaragua (so he supports the Contras? Who have been documented as killing over 100,000 people who had native heritage) in 20 years.Samosa families killied millions over the las hundred.Yet Churchill and Means called the Sandanistas a colonial government! They continued to support the Contras after the Miskito people had made a satisfactory settlement to their concerns. the thing with this is would you support Hitler because Resistance leaders accidently stepped on Gypsy toes? Hell no!

More issues on Ward of the Government, who put his hand on a bible and swore to uphold the constitution when taking his cushy job at that US gov. funded University ( I only bring this up as Ward has critisized AIM for taking federal money even though it was a seperate program with seperate status to do job training some AIM people did aside from AIM). Ward is on an answering machine tape threatening the life of respected AIM elder,leader and Wounded Knee defendant Vernon Bellecourt. He has never lived in predominantly native community. He attacked Carol Standing Elk and her mother at a public event. Has condemned John Trudell repeatedly (former national director of AIM whose family was burned alive during the unrest of the 70's).John recently spoke at the demo at the Dem Convention protest. No one questions the fact that he received tenure at University of Colorado faster than any man alive and was made director of Native studies even faster without a PHD.

He has repeatedly condemned the founders of AIM in his books (which white progressives read as the AIM bible). He followed the Walk for Justice (for Leanord Peltier) across the country saying Leanord didn't support it (Leonard kicked him off the defense committee for it). Although he claims to have a nose bleed of Indian blood he by no means is representitive of any person who has spent any large part of his life living in any Indian community (yet white people continue to bring him to their colleges to miseducate them about the AIM). He has never denied any of these allegations but makes excuses for them.

The left abandoned the true AIM who were fugitives from the imperialist US government and embraced the drunken movie star andthe college proffesor (Russ who was the voice in that racist Disney cartoon Pochahants. The lead Native role in that racist movie Last of the Mohicans a film about the last man of his tribe

risking it all to save two white ladies from the bad racist Indians with his

white buddy Danny Day Lewis).

The only one of the facts listed above Ward can dispute is that he is a cop.The rest has all been documented by the great Ward Churchill or in the public media. So all you lefties who condemn Farakahn because he is a sexist and homophobic, or Clarence Thomas because he is right wing, why are you giving Ward Churchill and Russ Means so much leeway? Why aren't you seeking out the true leaders and founders of AIM when you look to support Indians. Is it because you prefer people who support the Contras, the Republican party, and the Moonies more than you do people who have done real hard time in the struggle for justice behind bars? Are these the Indians you can stomach?

By the way don't forget Russ Means running for President with Larry Flynnt (porno kingpin) with the Libertarian Party (real anti-imperialist that Flynnt).

For the record the founders of the AIM were Dennis Banks and Clyde

Bellecourt. Even Russ's Brother Bill joined before he did. The leaders of

the AIM today are still there they have a web site AIMovement.Org they have

demanded repeatedly that the imposter calling himself the International

Confederation of Autonomous AIM chapters cease and desist. How many of you

ever heard of that back in the seventies. The American Indian

Movement has been in exsistence 31 years and was founded in Minn. Mn. where

it still exsists today. I urge anyone who would like to ask Mr. Churchill these questions the next time he is in your area to do so. I also urge anyone who feels inclined to call Speak Out speakers bureau and South End Press (his publisher) to stop promoting his garbage. How can AIM compete with a movie star who has the ear of the right wing media.

In one article written by Ojima, ( It was a long confusing rant about how Ward churchill is some kind of right wing counter-revolutionary) He mentioned that Ron Karenga spelled with a K not a C, was a former member of the panthers turned right wing evangicalist.

I am currently enrolled in a class with Karenga as my professor at cal state long beach. Frist of all, Karenga was never a member of the Panthers. He was a member of the United Slaves (U.S.) organization. Second, Karenga is far from a right wing evangicalist. He is not a christian. He practices an Ancient african religion ( I cant remember the name of it right know) Second, he is far from right-wing.

Just last week in class during a discussion, Karenga agreed with me, in front of a class of about 200 people, that we need a social revolution in the United States in order to actualize an equal distribution of wealth for all members of society. That is not right wing!

The reason I felt the need to write this is because the false information reguarding Karenga possibly brings all the evidence against Churchill into question.

The person I was reffering to joined the Moonies. I will hunt it down and post it. You are right sorry.

He was one of the people that hi-jacked an airliner to Cuba. HE was later allowed back into the united states. Like Cleaver and Russ Means he started doing lectures for the Monnies. Does anyone know who I am talking about?
