my guess is also "crank". and where is homeboy getting this "prepare for war" stuff? i've heard activists in the justice movement say "we need to be careful in our communications strategies" because the defenders of state authority are likely to treat our movement as a threat against which they will employ the implements of "war" --- so that we need to "prepare". but who's saying "and now, to war"?
