After a long struggle in the courts, it seems that Judge Grubb of Winnebago County (Rockford, IL) has decided to side with the county. This means that construction will start very soon, and that now we have to work in terms of direct action and civil disobedience, since the law has failed.

The goal now is to turn the Kent Creek Occupation into a full-scale free state. The KCO is located at 5530 Cunningham Rd. in Rockford, Illinois. We need to get this thing moving, if you can come out and help, that would be fantastic. If you can donate supplies or money, that would also help tremendously.

We need to take action. Please forward this as far and wide as you can to get the word out. We cannot let this land be lost.

I really think we can win this thing, it's gonna be tough, but I think we can do it...

The Ditzlers finally heard the judge's ruling today, almost a week after their court date. Appointed Winnebago County Circuit court Judge Gerald Grubb sent his decision in writing to the two attorneys. His decision was against the Ditzlers and for the county. We will need people out at the land, willing to protest this decision. I am working on organizing a protest outside of the court house. Please tell everyone you can and get them involved.
