I've actually been surprised at how few people have been commenting on the similarities between the 60's anti-war movement and the anti-corporate movement we're all caught up in today. I've recently been reading Norman Mailer's "Armies of the Night" about the 1967 March on the Pentagon and it is surprisingly similar to what I experienced at A16 in DC and have read on IMC about events in Seattle, Windsor, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.

I can't tell you how amased I am to hear this addressed. Let it be an example of how utterly insideous the lies can be! They rewrote history! and to this day people repeat that story! I was an anti-war activist then and neither I nor ANYONE i knew felt that way about the vets.It was such a pervasive lie that they even had us believing it.Though no one could possibly imagine such a thing! Must've happened in some other time zone. It was the damn government we where calling to task. I would have hoped things would have changed for the better, but just look at the lies they are still telling! And now it's more refined, more insidious and more sophisticated. Get in a time machine and picture yourself as a 17 yr old facing a heartless militaristic Babylon.Sound familiar? They are still there, its like time didn't exist.But I'm still here, And still raging against their fucking machine. Babylon must fall!!!! Don't think we aren't still out here. To you, of another generation I am you, you are me and WE will NEVER go away!!
