NoBanNoWall Jerusalem for All!! Protest Trump-Netanyahu Meeting!

Wednesday, February 15 at 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST

11000 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024

Protest Trump's Meeting With Netanyahu!!!

#NoBanNoWall Jerusalem for All!!

JVP-LA Call to Action!

Come to our demonstration- invite your friends!!

Info & RSVP: LosAngeles@JewishVoiceforPeace.org

On Wednesday, February 15th, the day Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to meet President Trump in the White House, we are protesting all around the country with our friends from American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) against bans and walls from US to Israel/Palestine. Netanyahu has been egging on Trump with support for his proposed US/Mexico border wall.

Trump, meanwhile, is dangerously close to moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, an act that violates international law and could have disastrous consequences. With settlement supporters like Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt in Trump's inner circle, and the nomination of pro-annexation David Friedman as ambassador to Israel, it is clear there is a toxic love affair between

Trump and the far right of Israeli society that could amount to a complete endorsement of Israel's practices of occupation, discrimination, and displacement.

Please join Al-Awda: Palestinian Right of Return Coalition, Jewish Voice for Peace-LA (JVP-LA), LA4Palestine, and Jews for Palestinian Right of Return, protest to show your support for Palestinian human rights!

BuildMovementsNotWalls

5 Reasons David Friedman is an alarming pick for ambassador:

1. Friedman is a proponent and funder of illegal, Jewish-only Israeli settlements.

2. He denies the existence of Palestinian refugees, recognized under international law,

3. He has demonized Jews as Nazi collaborators (?kapos?) for advocating for peace,

4. He advocated annexation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem,

5. He endorsed discriminatory screening of Muslim immigrants to the United States.

Moving the Embassy to Jerusalem:

With the increasing alignment of the incoming administration with Israel?s pursuit of annexation and dispossession, we expect that the U.S. embassy move will be the first in a cascade of actions that will cause profound harm to the rights and lives of Palestinians and any hope for a peace based on equality and freedom for everyone in the region.

Please sign our open letter now calling on not only the Senate with it?s direct decision-making power, but Members of Congress, the media, and all the allies we?ll need to stop Friedman's appointment.
