Ranked Choice Voting & Make 16 Sweet Again Forum
We want to engage in dialogue to increase voter participation in San Bernardino, CA.
Ranked Choice Voting gives voters the opportunity to rank candidates in the order of which they'd support (1, 2, 3, etc..). This basic, electoral reform would advocate for proportional representation, mandate majority rule, reduce negative campaigning, and save taxpayer $$$ by eliminating, costly runoff elections. http://www.fairvote.org/rcv#rcvbenefits
"Make 16 Sweet Again" is giving 16 and 17 year old people in San Bernardino the right to vote in citywide elections. In lowering the voting age to 16, cities and other countries have experienced greater voter turnout, enhanced civics education, and a more engaged community.http://vote16sf.org/
