ATA of L.A. is a group of individuals working to restore full civil rights to adult adoptees by changing the antiquated law that allows the state to seal birth certificates and issue amended birth certificates with false information.
We believe that all human beings have the right to self-identifying information and that the state should not be in the business of keeping people's secrets.
We know that sealed records creates a group of second class citizens denied heritage, health info and an inalienable right to our root connections.
