We are excited to welcome Hector Aristiz?bal, Founder and Artistic Co-Director of ImaginAction Theater Inc., a nonprofit theatre arts organization based in LA.
Hector will be sharing his most recent work, including videos, with the peace process in Colombia, as well as his work with Syrian refugees in Turkey, Aleppo and several European countries including Italy, Spain and Germany.
In traditional societies, ritual weaves the wounded individual back into the group. In ImaginAction workshops, they use theatre to create rituals, allowing participants to recreate themselves and the community around them.
This will be a different kind of Friday Forum.
THIS IS THE LAST MEETING OF THE YEAR. THERE IS NOT A MEETING ON DEC. 30.
Start your morning with coffee and bagels!
