Anti-war Vigil: Join the Los Angeles Catholic Worker (when not raining), on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8 am to 9 am on the corner of Central Ave. and 6th Street (three blocks from kitchen) for a stationary vigil.
Wednesday Anti-war Procession: At 12 noon on Wednesdays (when not raining), meet at the Edward Roybal Federal Building - 255 E. Temple St. at Judge John Aiso St., LA 90012, where we begin a silent, prayerful, slow procession around the entire federal complex, stopping in front of the Federal Building on Los Angeles St. to read names of victims of U.S. imperial violence, then again process to the starting point.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day Witness (August 6 or 9): Each year we commemorate the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and protest against U.S. nuclear weapons policy, and U.S. imperial war-making, by traveling to Vandenberg Air Force Base, on the central coast, where we have a vigil and nonviolent direct action.
