What is happening?

In response to the Women’s March on Washington Movement, local OC community groups have come together to organize a march here in OC! Orange County will join sister marches across the nation in sending a message to the incoming administration that women’s rights are human rights and our diverse voices must be heard.

Why is this happening?

The rhetoric of the past election cycle has insulted, demonized and threatened many of us — immigrants, Muslims, Veterans, people who identify as LQBTQ+, Native people, Black and Brown people, people with disabilities, and survivors of sexual assault.

This march is the first step toward unifying our communities and sending a strong message to the new president and his administration that our voices matter.

Who is organizing the event?

The Women’s March on OC is being organized by the following community organizations:

- National Women\'s Political Caucus

- Community Action Fund of Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties

- OC Congregation Community Coalition

- OC Equality Coalition

- OC for Climate Action

- Orange County Labor Federation

- Orange County Women\'s Coalition

- Progressive Interfaith Alliance

- SEEDS Orange County

- Together We Will - Orange County

No. This is a peaceful, family-friendly march and rally that aims to unite the many diverse communities in Orange County while sending a powerful message.

This event is free to the public

Yes, everyone is welcome!

Can I bring my pets?

No pets please, but service animals are welcome.
